Outstanding Features of the Explorations in STEM and Culture Program

Join a two-week summer program that focuses on developing English skills using STEM and cultural topics and includes conversation classes, trips, and activities.
Located on the University of Connecticut campus in Storrs, Connecticut, students in this summer program will develop their English skills through projects, fun activities, and trips. Join us this summer to experience life on a university campus and meet new friends. Explore New York City, Boston, and Connecticut.

Application fee: $150

What’s Included in Program Fees
- JFK airport pick up on July 6 and drop of on July 20
- Trips to New York City, Boston, Six Flags of New England Amusement Park, Mark Twain House, Mystic Seaport, and more
- Overnight accommodation in a standard dorm room
- On-campus meals in the dining hall (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Games and activities
- Classroom materials
What’s Not Included in Program Fees
- Spending money
- Participants must pay for airfare and arrange a flight that arrives before noon on July 6 and departs in the evening of July 20, 2025. If the student is traveling with family members, they may arrange pick up and drop off at the University of Connecticut on July 6 and July 20.
- Visa Fee for a visitors visa
- Health Insurance: All participants must show proof of health insurance that meets our minimum requirements or purchase insurance through the university at an additional cost
